1. What We Collect

We collect your email address and password (hashed and salted) when you create an account. Phone number and country are optional. Chart screenshots are processed in real-time by our AI engine and are never stored on our servers.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your email is used for account authentication and important service communications only. We do not send marketing emails unless you explicitly opt in. Chart images are processed ephemerally — they exist in memory only during analysis and are immediately discarded.

3. Payment Information

All payments are processed by Stripe. We never see, store, or have access to your credit card details. Stripe handles all payment data in compliance with PCI DSS standards.

4. Data Storage

Analysis metadata (symbol detected, direction, confidence score, timestamp) is stored to power your analysis history feature. This data is associated with your account and can be deleted at any time by contacting us.

5. Third-Party Services

We use third-party AI services (Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, OpenAI) to process chart analysis. Chart screenshots are sent via encrypted connections and are subject to their respective privacy policies. We select providers who do not train on user data.

6. Chrome Extension Permissions

The ChartPulse AI extension requests the activeTab permission to capture a screenshot of your current tab when you click "Analyze." It does not read your browsing history, passwords, forms, or any other data. The extension only activates when you explicitly click the analyze button.

7. Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser localStorage to store your authentication token and theme preference. We do not use third-party tracking cookies or analytics services.

8. Data Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing info@chartpulse.world. We will process your request within 30 days.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of significant changes via email.
